About Global Supreme Ministries

A Christ-centered Ministry dedicated to the deep study of God's Word and fervent prayer

The Global Supreme Ministries Story

It was in August 2017 when the LORD spoke to the President of Global Supreme Ministries to create a WhatsApp page and call it EMPOWERMENT. The aim of the page was simply for the study and sharing of the Word of GOD with its members.

The WhatsApp group started with 6 people but quickly increased to 20 in two weeks. In about two months, the membership was in hundreds, with people from all walks of life.

The activities of Global Supreme Ministries at the time was limited to Bible teachings only, from Monday to Friday, from 19:00 to 20:00 GMT. Later, we introduced MIDNIGHT CRY, a daily Morning Prayer watch with the first watch starting from 03:00 to 04:00 GMT and the second watch from 04:00 to 05:00GMT.

It's worth noting that, when we started in 2017, the name of the Ministry was Supreme Ministries. Later in 2019, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and the consulting with my esteemed father in the faith; Prophet Emmanuel Amuzu (Papa Glo), we changed it to Global Supreme Ministries (GSM).

Global Supreme Ministries founding story

Why GSM?

The President of the Ministry, Prophet Addae-Nyarko Benjamin is affectionately known as Supreme. The name Supreme was received by the President in his Senior High School days when he was in class trying to study. According to the President, while in class, at Akim State College in the Eastern Region of Ghana, where he started his Senior High School education, he picked his dictionary to study new words, which is one of the things he like doing. When he opened the dictionary, the only word that stood out to him, caught his attention and all was the word Supreme. He recounts that, upon seeing the word and the meaning of same, he heard a voice tell him that is who he will be and since then, he called himself Supreme and he has been known as such since. This was in September 2008, hence the name Supreme Ministries.

Prophet Emmanuel Amuzu, the Spiritual father of the Prophet Addae-Nyarko Benjamin, is also affectionately called Papa Glo. The Glo is the shortened form of the word Global. This name came about because he (Papa Glo) is one of the spiritual sons and member of Rev. Dr. Robert Ampiah Kwofi, the General Overseer of Global Revival Ministries in Ghana. In other words, Prophet Amuzu is also known as Global.

Where Are We Now?

GSM has and is still growing and soaring on the wings of the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. As at 2024, the membership/subscribers of GSM's Podbean channel were 365.

Global Supreme Ministries (GSM) remains committed to its core calling: a Christ-centered Ministry dedicated to the deep study of God's Word and fervent prayer. In 2025, our digital pulpit expanded significantly. We have transitioned from a local gathering to a global fellowship, using technology to ensure that the message of the Cross reaches every smartphone and home.

True to our name, our reach is becoming truly Global. While Ghana is our 'Jerusalem'— accounting for 64.8% of our faithful listeners—God has opened doors in the West. We are now ministering to significant numbers in the United States (15.5%) and the United Kingdom (11.4%). For the Ghanaian diaspora, Global Supreme Ministries is the spiritual cord that keeps them connected to their roots and their faith.
